How to Add Songs to Spotify Directly from Instagram Posts and Reels
Instagram has launched a new feature that allows you to add songs to Spotify directly from Instagram posts and reels. This is an amazing feature launched by Instagram with the collaboration of Spotify.
Social media platforms like Instagram have become one of the best and most interesting ways to find new and trending songs. If you listen to a song on Instagram and like it, you will now have the feature to integrate that song directly into your Spotify library for later listening.
How to Add Songs to Spotify Directly from Instagram Posts
This new feature has been rolled out by Instagram and if you can’t see this feature in your Instagram then make sure to update your application or wait for a few days to see if this update becomes available for your account.
- Make sure that both of the Instagram and Spotify apps are updated on your smartphone.
- When scrolling through Instagram, tap on a song you like to save in your Spotify playlist.
- You’ll then be redirected to the song’s audio page on Instagram.
- Tap the ‘add’ button on the right-hand side with the Spotify logo to integrate it.
- The first time you do this it will ask you to link your Spotify account with Instagram.
- Click ‘Agree’ on the terms and conditions – you can revoke access at any time in your settings.
- Newly saved tracks can be found in your ‘Liked Songs’ playlist and under ‘Your Library’ on your Spotify application.
- Once the accounts are linked, the ‘add’ button will just save songs with a single tap on your Android or iPhone smartphone.
This feature is not available for all the songs or audio – particularly if it’s original (such as dialogue or an edited piece). If you see an artist and a song pop up, it’s like to be supported.
Songs or Audio that don’t support this feature won’t show the “add” button to save it on a Spotify playlist.
